Mam and Dad were the first tenants of 14 Kemp Road, Peterlee. A new town build to encourage new industry into the area due to the decline in coal mining.

Mam and Dad were very happy in their home eventually buying in 1980 it from the Council for the princely sum of £5000.

Sadly Dad died in 1992.  Mam stayed in the house until relocating to Brighton in 2001. 

Dad always had flowers either side of the path to greet you as you walked up to the door.
